As Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) is known to offer a lasting solution to the socio-economic difficulties of the Niger Delta Region and to facilitate the rapid and sustainable development of the Niger Delta into a region that is economically prosperous, socially stable, ecologically regenerative and politically peaceful, the people in the Ese-Odo and Ilaje local government of the NDDC region lament and cried out to charge the leaders of the NDDC on the over hundred abandoned projects in the regional area.

In a press released by the Apex president of the National Association of Ilaje Students (National Body) Comrade Omotade Moses Segun PKA Pop White, he called on Hon B. O. T, Chairman NDDC Committee and others to check out on the projects that has been abandoned for years in the Ilaje and Ese-Odo Niger Delta Region.



They makes further to show their interest on some projects that has been approved by the NDDC body, and if it has been accomplished, it would have helped a lot in the economic growth of the region and not that alone, make the region and people in the environment, lives a healthy and wealthy life.

BRIEF HISTORY OF ODE-AYE Ode-Aye is a town located on the northern area of Ikale land in Okitipupa local government of Ondo State, Southwest of Nigeria. Ode-Aye is on latitude 6.59°N of the Equator and 4.74°E of the Greenwich. The population of Ode-Aye is estimated at about 33,000 People. The town is inhabited by different tribes from Nigeria. These are: Ikales, Urhobos, Isokos, Ilajes, Ibos, Hausas, Efiks, Ibibios, Yorubas, Deltans and Edos.
